"Abenaki" is a LoA 8’ long sailing and rowing dinghy, strip-planked in cedar, glued with epoxy and sheathed inside and out with clear fiberglass — a construction method that produces a lightweight, stiff, and durable hull. Built in 1985 by Robert K. Lincoln on Mount Desert Island, Maine, the vessel is presented in Bristol condition with bronze custom hardware, cold-molded cedar strips in the hull, and mahogany seats, rails, and stern.

Offered complete with centerboard, tiller, rudder, well cap, halyard sheet, two leathered cedar oars, bowline, sternline, and Dacron sail. Carriage is not included.

This boat is part of the Donald Tofias small boat collection presented by the Sparkman & Stephens Art Gallery and Boat Store.

Delivered with no charge within a 50 mile radius of Newport.
